23 July 2021

India's Supreme Court rejected a plea from telecommunications operators for correction for alleged errors in adjusted gross revenue (AGR) calculation.

In September 2020, the country's top court granted telcos a period of 10 years to clear their pending AGR dues to the central government with 10% payment per annum.

The first payment was due before March 31, 2021.
